NOVEMBER 2025.
November tends to see the return of regular rainfall. While some folk will continue to unwaveringly adventure along the cliff paths in all kinds of weather, others are not as eager to wade through muddy puddles and it suits them better to walk when it’s dry. When it comes to righteousness, Scripture calls us all to keep walking faithfully in every season. In comparison to walking along the path of evil, Proverbs 4:18 says that the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day. What a lovely description! When we walk along God’s path, whatever we once were is not what we are now, and whatever we are now is not what we will be. In a spiritual sense, every day that we walk along the path of righteousness is brighter than the day before, and one day we will be in the eternal brightness of God’s presence. This November, let’s reflect on our journey along the path of righteousness so far. In ways that we might need to return to the path of uprightness, 1 John 1 calls us to confess our sins and return to God’s way. In the ways that we are already walking as He has called us to walk, we press on by walking in the light as He is in the light.
