Who We Are
New Life Church is an FIEC affiliated church that meets in the parish of St Saviour on the beautiful island of Guernsey. As Christians we believe that through His life, death and resurrection Jesus Christ offers new life to all who believe in Him, life not just for now but for eternity. The new life we have received in Jesus compels us to worship God, learn more about Him through the Bible, encourage one another and reach out to the community. Our vision is to be a people of FAITH, HOPE & LOVE, by boldly believing and proclaiming the eternal message of the Christian faith as passed on to us in the Scriptures; by knowing and sharing the hope of Jesus Christ; and by loving people, and above all, loving God.
Pastor's Greeting
Faith, Hope and Love are inseparable aspects of authentic Christianity, and the Scriptures are packed with teaching about each of these. What a privilege it is to discover that the God on Whom our faith depends is faithful! He is our great source of hope and our inspiration to love. As Christians, Faith, Hope and Love are central to our relationship with God, but they also determine how we interact with others. For starters, God has intended us to walk out our journey of faith in genuine Christian community. We cannot do it alone. With this in mind, if you live in Guernsey and are not part of a church community, I would warmly welcome you to consider coming along to NLC.
So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
