THE WINTER WILL PASS
Winter has been a recurring stretch of sniffles and sickness for many of us this year, but as we enter the lengthening days of March our hearts will soon be flooded with the warmth of the sun. Not that Winter doesn’t have a charm of its own, but the onset of Spring is always a reminder that the difficulties of this life won’t last forever. In comparison to the charm of Winter, there are many moments of joy in this life. And yet, how wonderful it will be when our pain and tears are ended the moment we see the Son.
In the words of Psalm 16:11, we can be glad that He makes known the path of life to us in the Winter; and we can be glad that the Son will soon take us to be with Him forever. In His presence there is fullness of joy.
