Simon Krige

Simon has a deep love for the Church, both local and global, and considers it a great privilege to serve the Lord as the pastor of NLC. Prior to moving to Guernsey in September 2020, Simon served in pastoral and leadership roles in a range of contexts, including South Africa, Indonesia, and Hawaii. In every place, his purpose has been to point people to the God who designed them and loves them. With a heart for adventure, Simon's travels allowed him to enjoy time in the ocean spent surfing and spear-diving in interesting locations. He also enjoys doing Crossfit as a way to keep active and push his limits. Along with his interest in keeping active Simon enjoys creative expression, particularly videography and music. He loves using his creativity to serve the church, whether it's leading worship or working on a design and presentation project. Most of all, Simon loves to spend time with his wife and two sons. His wife, Sarah, serves in the NLC children's ministry and women's bible study group. The family loves living in Guernsey.
